Brisbane Powerhouse Wedding Photographer

A big congratulations to Stacey & Craig who were married at the Brisbane Powerhouse and New Farm Park.

Stacey & Craig both hold history together at the rotunda in New Farm Park which made it an easy choice as their wedding ceremony location. The rotunda is located in the middle of the park and surrounded by greenery, roses, open space and many jacaranda trees that put their stunning purple flowers on display once a year around October. Stacey & Craig loved my documentary & creative wedding photography style and so I became their wedding photographer. Stacey & Craig had an intimate wedding ceremony with close family & friends. Rose petals were laid before Stacey made her entrance. Stacey & Craig also had a unity sand ceremony with the kids to symbolise coming together and becoming one. There was a kiss and the celebrations began with some champagne.

Location photos took place at both New Farm Park and the Brisbane Powerhouse. There’s so many great photographic options around it’s clear to see why it’s so popular for Brisbane wedding photographers. Having photographed at the powerhouse many times before there is still so many different options and creative shots yet to be captured. The possibilities really are endless. Despite the great location at the end of the day, what’s more important in my eyes is the connection and emotion between the couples I photograph. I want my images to portray the love, chemistry and bond that exists between brides and grooms on their wedding day.

As one of the leading Brisbane wedding photographers I also love capturing creative, wide landscapes (weddingscapes) with brides and grooms. It’s the combination of that emotion paired with a stunning backdrop that a lot of couples are requesting with Kyle Richardson Photography. The Brisbane Powerhouse certainly isn’t short on options for this type of wedding photography. One of the most popular locations for these type of images during a Brisbane powerhouse wedding is the brick walls at the entrance. There is also lots of big trees close by and Brisbane city views off in the distance. Follow below to see a few wedding photography examples of Stacey & Craig’s big day…
